Lochinvar offers a full line of high efficiency gas water heaters for residential use. The advanced design provides combined high efficiency, low stand-by loss with outstanding quality and performance features. Combined with precision quality construction and testing, they provide one of the best valves available in a residential water heater.

Construction begins with a high quality, triple tested tank. The interior of the tank is lined with a specially formulated glass lining with a large magnesium tank saver. A special flue baffle design increases recovery capacity and decreases wasteful stack loss. Heat input is provided by a whisper quiet, high capacity radial port burner providing efficient heat transfer to the stored water. Recovery efficiencies of 76% are achieved. The entire heater receivers a thick blanket of non CFC foam insulation with an 8.33 R-value to minimize stand-by loss and is finished with a steel jacket and a beautiful acetylic enamel finish with contrasting trim. Control is provided by an adjustable immersion thermostat/gas valve with an automatic overheat safety device. All models meet or exceed the NAECA and ASHRAE standards for energy efficiency.

Models are available in capacities from 30 to 100 gallons. Special high recovery models are offered in 40 and 50 gallon sizes for high demand hot water applications. All models feature a new design dip tube which provides 20% more hot water maximizing hot water draw from the tank. The energy saver tall and short models combine to offer a complete line of high quality and efficient residential gas water heater for every application.
