Over the weekend, we wanted to give thanks and show our giving spirit by stepping in to help correct a horrible situation that happened to a wonderful local non-profit.
As KRQE Channel 13 reports in their story, we, here at Steward's Plumbing, teamed up with Homeserve Foundation to finish a project for the non-profit "Heroes Walk Among Us," at no cost The non-profit was left on their own after it was discovered that their contractor was unlicensed and had skipped town with the money and an incomplete project.
Heroes Walk Among Us assists disabled and homeless veterans, and it was an easy decision to step in and help complete this job for a truly giving non-profit.
